Words That Are Not To Be Used

This was in response to a challenge set by my friend Lawrence Koch.

Erst, let us now praise wizard famous men
Whilom, tireless, we calculate in thought;
Ere, peradventure, faux pas blot the pen
Nathless no bosh may bump off what they taught:

Methinks 'twere à propos that we enthuse
O'er Low and Hollingworth—who did donate
Such nice advice!  Such get-at-able views
As ever author did eventuate.

Okay, I guess this poem's awful rot;
No caitiff tongue quoth ever phrase so dire;
I play the giddy goat—and yet, bunk not
Loan me your ear, evince your wrathly ire,

I'm not blasé, fictional reading beau
I'll get a move on—oh, where did he go?
